Della Longmire has been with the Western area Women's Coalition from 1991 to present - first as a founding member and now as the Executive Director. Borne in Hillsburn, Della has traveled extensively but has always returned to Nova Scotia.
Knowledge alone will not overcome oppression: recognition combined with the will to change our own actions, thoughts and opinions is the only way to freedom.
